Ladies and gentlemen! I give you Joshua Isaiah!

Look at all that hair!!! I’m a proud aunt again =)

My nephew was born yesterday morning. Joshua…umm I have no clue how to spell his middle name right now lol…anyway, the quick of it is that he was a month early, and when he was born, he was dead. No heartbeat, but he’s with us now, but just a week ago he was only 5lbs and he was born 8lbs 6oz as an 8 month baby, so they’re testing for diabetes. Thus far we don’t know of any major complications of him being born dead (he was originally a twin though, and the twin was lost at around 2 months or so) but only time will tell. So just do me a favor and keep him in your thoughts/prayers/meditations for. Thanks =)

Aside from that–I’m told he has a full head of hair and Jesalyn doesn’t like him too much ’cause all her favorite people keep holding him. Now instead of being 13 months apart, they’re a little less than a year apart. Jesalyn’s Birthday is Saturday. Luckily they had her party last weekend ’cause they knew all this would be going on this week. I don’t like being the absentee aunt! I miss everything! Though, I can’t imagine how James feels. He’s all the way in Oklahoma being the absentee uncle! lol

It’s that time of year when all the new stuff comes out, and why not? Everyone’s at home looking for something to do, something new to buy to keep them entertained or just make life easier.

The folks over at TVProducts4Less are no exception. They’ve got plenty of new gadgets on hand and I’m totally eying this Clapper Plus. Andrew and Ryan leave pretty much everything turned on and I’m constantly running up and down the stairs to turn off this that and the other. I’d really like to have one of these just to turn off the laundry room light and probably the kitchen light.

Just fair warning to everyone, I just got a friend request and the profile picture was kind of small so I clicked to go to the profile to see if it was someone I know. I got an error page, no surprise, with a link to “continue to profile” which took me to a more in-depth error page telling me my account had been hacked and I needed to ‘disinfect’ my computer and profile in 24 hours and there was a link to a file to do all this, stating that regular antivirus stuff wouldn’t cut it. Well, at this point I finally realized something was fishy so I didn’t click on it, thank goodness. I copy/pasted the page to a report for Myspace. I’m hoping the none of the original stuff I clicked on did any harm, but if you guys see my profile doing funny stuff, let me know, please.

Hopefully Myspace will let me know what’s going on with that and maybe release a message for other people so they know not to click on anything. That place is getting so ridiculous with this stuff!

Keri just bought me a new gnome a few days ago. His name is Petey D. Gangsta. (The ‘D’ stands for ‘Da’) So the gnome fever is back, and I dunno how to suppress it! I don’t guess I really have to though, as Online Discount Mart has a great 10% off deal going on through the rest of the summer for online shoppers.

I think we’re gonna start spiffing up the outside of Parkview for the Fall parties that’ll be going on here. I might wanna pick up some of their lanterns to put out there.

I can’t stop listening and dancing around in my chair! For a minute I forgot I had no use of my vocal chords and tried really hard to sing along. This is totally going on my iPod.

I woke up this morning to find something missing….my voice. Ugh…while I don’t really mind it much–I have some odd fascination with being hoarse and losing my voice, all that….either way, it was a pain in the ass at work today.

I still went into work ’cause, well…how would I call in anyway? It took 3 hours before they finally told me they’d let me leave at 1 if I felt like I couldn’t stay. Everything went well enough. It was nice to see a handful of people sort of taking care of me and paging things and calling departments for me when they knew I’d need it.

Things got a little rough when I was up at Returns for the last little bit though. Everything got hectic and there were a lot of complex Returns that required explanations, and questions and such. Luckily the customers I dealt with were really understanding, even the gentleman with the hearing aid–we were definitely a pair!

Overall, I’m feeling a lot better, but I certainly don’t feel well. My chest is tight, and I keep having these spells where my throat feels like there are about a million thorns running up and down my throat, trailing lemon juice behind them to sprinkle about…in other words–ouch.

So here I am, at home. Bored. Everyone is off at work and elsewhere and I’m home early, feeling too well just lie around on the couch, but not quite well enough to do much else. I’m not even really feeling up to sitting at the computer long enough to finish one of the movies on here, so I’m not quite sure what I’ll do for the afternoon. Suggestions? Obviously not karaoke though…
