Sweet Catastrophe

OMG. I want this. I want it badly, and I want it now. What exactly is it? It’s a limited edition Star Wars R2-D2 Mimobot 1Gig USB Flash Drive from mimoco. It’s being given away at Kristofers Blog and I’m itching to get my hands on it!

This is number 667 of 3,500. It actually includes all sorts of preloaded Star Wars and Mimobot files such as movie trailers and Wallpapers of all different resolutions. I’ve read it even includes wallpapers of Star Wars scenes with the Mimobot Star Wars characters!

I’ve discovered that I must have a Mimobot. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No joke. I need one. I probably really need this R2D2 Mimobot….I mean….he even has an outfit (okay, so it’s a Protohoodie protective carrying case/keychain, but I am a girl, so it’s an outfit!) Look at this ridiculous cuteness:

Back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad I’m not a fool….

It’s baaaack, and with it a long list of required items and suggested items! I’m not taking a mathematical course this semester, but my math days are far from over. One day I’ll hear Texas Instruments and think of days behind me; for now, I’m still looking at days ahead.

I can’t believe I almost forgot my entry into Colleen’s monthly giveaway! This month she’s giving away an 80GB portable harddrive and a copy of The Wedding Singer on dvd.

I’ll take either one, but I could definitely use the portable harddrive with all my computer classes. It’s so easy to lose a tiny flash drive. This sleek portable would be amazing to have. I’d have to be careful though, don’t wanna get my drool in it!

I’ve also taken to finally getting all my pictures offline…and stealing people’s pics from Facebook as well. I really need somewhere to back those up. A new portable is definitely in my future; let’s just hope it’s in my future for free!

I’ve actually visited her site a random few times. I really like her writing style and enjoy that, like me, she varies between more personal, ‘journal’ type posts, and informative or entertaining blog posts.

She does something I’ve always wished I had the skill to do…she’s an amazing photographer, and her artwork makes me ridiculously jealous…

If I’m lucky, Crissy’s fingers will find my name in her magical hat when she does the drawing for this contest. My PayPal account could definitely use an extra $50 to soften the blow of all these course books I can’t even afford…
