OMG. I want this. I want it badly, and I want it now. What exactly is it? It’s a limited edition Star Wars R2-D2 Mimobot 1Gig USB Flash Drive from mimoco. It’s being given away at Kristofers Blog and I’m itching to get my hands on it!
This is number 667 of 3,500. It actually includes all sorts of preloaded Star Wars and Mimobot files such as movie trailers and Wallpapers of all different resolutions. I’ve read it even includes wallpapers of Star Wars scenes with the Mimobot Star Wars characters!
I’ve discovered that I must have a Mimobot. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No joke. I need one. I probably really need this R2D2 Mimobot….I mean….he even has an outfit (okay, so it’s a Protohoodie protective carrying case/keychain, but I am a girl, so it’s an outfit!) Look at this ridiculous cuteness:

NEED! Hows about you enter the contest too, and if you win, we can consider it an early Birthday present to moi?! Eh? Eh? Wink, wink…nudge nudge *big grin*
It’s dorky, it’s geeky, and it’s flippin’ cute. Could it be screaming my name any louder?!

Having my own domain has really opened me up to a lot of possibilities. I’ve thought of tons of things I’d like to do here outside of just my blog. For instance, I’ve got tons of things I’d like to sell off, but I’m limited in what I can do with listing on other sites, so I’m planning on setting up my own listings to point back to, that way I have all the control over the way my items are presented.
I’d have had this set up months ago except that, web design just isn’t my strongest skill. I can do a few things with FrontPage, but it still all looks very unprofessional. Dev3 - Web Design Services opens the door on what I can get done. They’re not limited to just site design; they do custom web apps and databases as well. For my cards, a database is really what I’m looking for. I was surprised to see that they even offer search engine optimization as well!

I’d love to have one! I’ll be starting all my computer based classes this Fall and I’m sure this’ll be greatly needed. In fact, I didn’t even think about it until now that I’d be needing one!

I’ve got my ticket for Pirates tonight! Wooooooooo
The 8 and 9:30 shows were already sold out when I got there at 4 and the box office had only just opened at 3:30. So I’m going at 8:30 and I couldn’t be more excited =)
I finally started reading the Harry Potter books over the weekend. I finished the third one last night so I’ll do a review of the first three a little later, I’ve barely started the 4th and I’m already too preoccupied with it to do much else but read.

Wow. Dork check– know what I did last night? I started cataloging my Yu-Gi-Oh card collection to appraise them and start selling on Ebay. Mmmhmm, I played Yu-Gi-Oh. In my defense, it was my ex who dragged me into it. It was really just something else I could share with him, but of course, I got caught up in it as well. Now, for those that don’t know, Yu-Gi-Oh can be likened to Magic, and Pokemon. Most people see it as a kids’ game, but it’s actually a really complicated strategy game. Anyone who’s seen young adults play, and then a group of kids play, quickly realizes that the kids tend to make up their own rules, or just toss out the complicated ones. They’ll throw down any card regardless of star level or stipulations put on the card. It’s kinda cute, but frustrating when you’re trying to play with your cousin who’s 8 years younger than you
Anyway, I’m a pack rat. I really am. And a nostalgia freak to boot, so it’s always hard for me to throw things out, but since I moved into this cramped apartment, I’ve been finding it easier and easier. I’ve been meaning to appraise my cards for a long time now so I can sell them off while there’s still a market for them. I ended up staying awake until 6am entering cards into the CardShark database. As of right now, I’ve got about 1200 cards entered at about a $600 value. I’m almost done, I just have to enter in my more prized cards which should add a considerable bit to my total. The current appraisal is actually before taking into consideration the 200+ cards I own that are 1st edition. I’ll have to go through and do a little more research on those before I come up with my final assessment. After that I’ll probably be breaking the set up into sets, or maybe rarities and listing them on Ebay. I have a few cards I plan to list individually. I’ve got a ridiculous amount of money invested into this set. I don’t even want to think how much. If I get as much as I want to out of this, I’ll probably be breaking even!
This will be my first time selling on Ebay so if anyone has any pointers, send ‘em my way!
