Does anyone else feel bad for Meatloaf? I mean really, is he that broke?
I’m going through all my drafts right now and clearing out the ones I know I won’t be using. I found one I should’ve posted weeks ago–you guys are gonna love this–
And while we’re at it, earlier this week we found a dancing seal!
Almost too much awesome for one post =)
Something tells me these guys don’t know about laptop rental. Haha just kidding. This is hilarious! Have you guys ever checked out any of the Improv Everywhere stuff? I got into them last month when I saw the video for Frozen Grand Central. Over 200 people froze in place for 5 minutes. It was great!!
I’ve since watched all their other videos on that blog and Frozen Grand Central and the iPod Challenge ones are my favorites. I suggest adding them to your bookmarks to check them out sometime.
They’ve also done stuff like taking a huge group of people dressed in blue shirts and khakis into Best Buy, or freezing in place in Home Depot–oh and in Home Depot, at the end of their mission, Jewel’s “Standing Still” started playing in the store–it was too perfect! I seriously want to get in on one of their missions one day!!
I was watching a video on YouTube one night, and in the video responses, I saw a video entitled “Rick Rolled.”
It was obvious this video had nothing to do with the one I was currently watching, but I was intrigued nonetheless.
What I found was something part of an apparent internet fad I somehow missed out on. Were you guys familiar with this?
The more interesting version is a website that plays the video. Upon entering the site, your window dances around the screen before settling. If you try to navigate away, you’re greeted with information boxes containing the lyrics line by line. Ctrl+Alt+Del is your best method to get out. You can see it here, but remember, I warned you!
There are also a ton of variations and edits around YouTube if you just search for a minute. Some of them are pretty hilarious.
So am I the only one behind here?
I actually clapped for these guys sitting here at home in my seat. This is great!
“The original members of Straight No Chaser perform their comedic version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” at the Musical Arts Center, Bloomington, Indiana. December 7th, 1998.”
Well, the Kingdom Hearts series is my favorite video game, but this bit from MC Chris comparing Kingdom Hearts II to Resident Evil 4 is just….too great. It always makes me laugh out loud.
Someone put the audio together with actual scenes from the two games. I’d say aside from their spelling, they did a really good job! [Warning, language]
For those of you on LJ who aren’t seeing the video, do yourself a favor and go watch it on YouTube.
Even geeky gamers can find a use for Freeze It!
It’s just the topical pain relief Peter needed to soothe his Halo 3 soul! Now go Peter! Pwn your little heart out!
It’s so close now.
I’m so excited! This season is looking pretty intense. That’s how I like my dramas
I really hope they bring up that whole “worse than the boogeyman,” thing within the first few eps. I’d really like to hear who’s more badass than Sylar!
I hope I don’t have to work Monday night! =(
Marie posted this little nugget on her blog and I’m a bit hooked now.
I hope to see more of her….and hope to hear some really good stuff from her, not just the same stuff that’s already on the radio! Check her out on YouTube, or her official site, Esmee Denters : Official Site.
I’m pretty sure that’s an oxymoron….but hangover is definitely the word of the day! Last night was a good friend’s 21st Birthday so I went out with him and some other friends after work to Cj’s for a few drinks then back to their apartment for Super Smash Bros and Guitar Hero…and more alcohol.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to let loose comfortably. I hadn’t planned on really drinking, but Levi wouldn’t have a Birthday shot alone, so I bought us both one, and a drink for myself ’cause…well why not? lol
We left the bar a lot earlier than I thought we were going to, so I felt a little cheated considering what I had just spent on drinks for a mild buzz! Anyway, we settled in and since I hadn’t eaten since lunch, I decided I either needed a cheeseburger, or more alcohol. The decision was made for me, so Catie rode with me back to my apartment to pick up some Golden Grain and dump my car. (Ryan dropped us back off and picked me up later, when I was done getting my drink on.) The rest is pretty much history.
Lessons learned:
- Let someone more sober add the ingredients for your mixed drink or you’ll end up with about twice as much alcohol as intended.
- Your sober boyfriend knows what he’s talking about.
- Drunken conversations about Mitch Hedberg are tons of fun!
(Disclaimer: I drank in moderation. Today’s hangover is not an indication of drinking too much last night, but of eating too little yesterday. I don’t get hangovers. This is probably only my 3rd ever.)
Now I leave you with Pearl, as she’s been on my mind today. You remember Pearl, right?
