A HUGE congratulations to my Krizit for landing the job she really wanted!! She had an interview and follow-up for a job as a special education paraprofessional and this afternoon she got the call that she’d been given the job!!
I’m really, really excited and totally proud! She’s been trying so hard to get a job and had rally had a rough time of finding someone who wouldn’t severely underestimate her! I’m so proud of the work she’s put into finding a good job and how well she’s handled the disappointments. I know this is a job she was really excited about and I know having steady income is going to be great for her in so many ways!
Of course, I’m a little sad too. For those of you that don’t know, Kristi and I live about 5 hours apart so we don’t get to visit each other, but we talk online daily. Her new work schedule is definitely going to change that! I’m going to miss having her around to have truncated conversations with no need to explain random absences. I might have to make up an imaginary Krizzle to discuss television, neighbor annoyances, bra malfunctions, hot lingerie, celebrity gossip, weird ailments, and my desire to never go to work again. *sigh* Congratulations Krizzle-bear! I’ll miss you very much, but I’m so happy for you!

and then you can just talk to my IM and I can read it all and give you my profound thoughts when I get home!
