sonofabitch…you know those calss-action suits you hear about all the time? where all these people use a product, get really bad problems because of it and then they all sue together? well i just discovered there’s one against the contact lens solution i’ve been using for like a year at least. this shit has caused a fungal eye infection called Fusarium keratitis. it “may cause personal injury and vision loss severe enough to require corneal transplants in affected individuals. Fusarium keratitis requires up to three months of treatment and may cause corneal scarring and permanent blindness.”
now, let’s consider the fact that for the last few months, i’ve been complaining about my vision. i thought i just needed to get my prescription changed because the eye dr changed it a few months ago. i’ve been putting off doing anything because i’d have to pay for another visit and waste almost an entire $24 box of contact lenses because they won’t just exchange them. BELIEVE i’m now planning on going to the eye dr IMMEDIATELY on thursday (i’m in class allllll day wed)
i know, i know….i’m a bit of a hypochondriac at times, but really….CORNEAL TRANSPLANTS….i’m sorry….i don’t really want to risk having to have major eye surgery. i’m a bit freaked….
