He’s not terribly well respected by other comedians, because he seems to snarf their jokes and material.
There’s an old quote that immature comedians borrow and mature comedians borrow or maybe its the other way around . . . .

I’m well aware of that. He’s not my favorite comedian by far, but I do enjoy him, and I don’t really factor any of that into my opinion. It’s 2007, there’s not much in the way of truly original content anymore, not even in comedy. Everything is the same, or a variation on something else. I enjoy the delivery. I enjoy the persona he’s created. It’s a cheap laugh, but a laugh nonetheless!
