So Ryan is out of town until Sunday. He’s helping his mom move from Atlanta back to Louisiana. Then Thursday he’ll be driving the rental moving truck back here to drop off the washer, dryer and his old bed (it’s an odd little setup–it’ll replace the futon here in the living room). Then he’s taking the truck back to Jacksonville where he’ll be until Sunday–they’ve got a show this weekend.
Last night he started texting me hints about what my Birthday present is. I won’t divulge those, because the hints make it seem really obvious what it is, but the more people who start thinking that, well, the more I’m going to feel stupid when it’s not that.
Let’s just say it’s something I really want.
However, I’m pretty certain that either it’s not that at all, or it’s a variation on what I want, that might actually disappoint me some.
I hate all these expectations. I know it’s not what I think it is. All the hints he’s given support the idea that it is, but all other logic points to a big, “nahhh.” So I dunno what to think! And I’ve got almost a week to keep thinking it!
I’m trying really hard not to think about it at all.
It’s pretty much nagging at me…

Well…it is probably what you think it is. He would have to be a putz to drop hints about something he knows you want and then not come through.
Plus the fact that he is hinting, means he is excited about it, which means it is what you really want.
