MacBook Air

Have you seen these things yet?! The sleekness, the full-sized, back lit keyboard, the 13 inch screen….this is the first laptop I’ve ever wanted. Sure, I’ve seen laptops that would’ve been nice to have, but I’ve never seen one and thought, “ohh I want that.”

I want this one though. I’d probably save to get one, except that I’m totally a Windows girl. Alright competitors! Step it up and bring me a comparable product!!!

i’ve had a mac with a full sized backlit keyboard for… oh, 2 years now? and they’ve come that way since 2002 at least :P

you’ll never find a portable comparable to a mac. pcs are just now catching up to how macs looked 5 years ago. you should try a mac out, most people that do never go back.

The problem with the air is that its air. You get no optical (no cd/dvd drive!) drive, no changeable battery.

Of course, if you want the flash drive version you do get to pay and extra 1500.

I spent 1800 on my current laptop and it has two 100gb drives, a DVD-RW drive, 17″ monitor and a ton of other features. Sure, its two inches thick and heavier than the air, but its a better machine all the way around.

mcangeli–meh, it’s an impractical desire that I would never take any further than drooling over its prettiness! lol

Alicia–I just like the total package. It’s just visually pleasing to me. I use macs quite a bit at school, actually, and they’re just not my thing. I just got my new desktop last year and I need to work on my vision before I bother saving up for stuff I don’t need anyway! haha

Whatever… you know you desperately want a mac. You’re just in denial, dear. Well, I say it’s time to come over to the darkside… buy an Air. You’ll never regret it…

(Dammit… now I’m missing my old iBook…This new Samsung laptop I’ve been using is super disappointing).
