Internet to the rescue! Since I’ve started that Christmas list, I’ve been constantly coming back to what I’m gonna get my grandparents. Rio and I got on the subject of Christmas shopping and something she said jogged my memory.
I remembered those sites that sell stuff as seen on tv. I know there’s something perfect on there for all the grandparents! I may even find something better suited for some of the people I’ve got down for gift cards!
I’m really excited about Christmas this year. Well, okay, I’m excited about Christmas, but I hate all the stuff working up to it. We already have a big portion of our Christmas stuff up in Lowe’s. Working in Returns is a headache–right next to the aisle with all the things that play music. At any given time there are 12 different Christmas songs playing so it sounds like a whole big mess of bells yelling at each other. It sounds horrid.
Anyway, I’m excited to maybe have a pretty stress-free Christmas this year. I mean, if I keep doing well on all the gift stuff, there won’t be much to worry about when the time comes.
I’m hoping we’ll get to go to Louisiana this year. That was the original idea, but now Ryan doesn’t know if he’ll be working too closely to Christmas to make the trip. I just hope he finds out soon enough for me to take off from work. Packing and the drive will be a little stressful, but I’m really comfortable with all of his family that I’ve met so far and he’s always been really good about making sure he plays his part in making that happen. I’d love to meet the rest of his bunch.
I’ll miss Christmas Eve with my mom’s side, but I’m okay with missing it this year. I’ve decided I’ll just drop off all my gifts before we leave. Hopefully if James and Ashley come to town I’ll get to see them.
