Sweet Catastrophe

oy…i’m so tired. i closed last night, couldn’t sleep, and at promptly 6:15 this morning (shortly after i finally hit a decent slumber) my alarm went off, reminding me i had a meeting at work. ugh. i got there at 6:50 and there wasn’t a single car in the parking lot so i freaked for a minute thinking i got something mixed up and either the meeting wasn’t today or that it wasn’t at the store. finally a few more cars pulled up. the meeting was useless. none of the zone managers showed up and only 2 of 5 head cashiers showed up and not even half the cashiers were there. without all the managers, gary couldn’t go into everything he had wanted to talk about. it was basically a total waste of sleep-time. so i came home and unsuccessfully tried to get a little more sleep. now i’m heading back to lowe’s to work till 8:30. then i’ll come home and do lot’s of french homework and read some dante! (boy that’ll lift my spirits…) i’m cranky and full of allergy fun. but my ankle feels a lot better today, so that’s a big plus. i just hope tonight goes smoothly. i’m too tired to deal with a crappy night.
