What do you recommend?
I haven’t shown Ryan the Xbox bundle I found yet, but I decided tonight that if we don’t get a bundle with two controllers, I’m getting a red one. And so help the first idiot who drops my controller on the tile.
At initial purchase, we’ll have to make sure we have two controllers, rechargeable batteries, a battery charger, and a Live subscription.
Ryan will probably splurge for a game for himself, but I’ll be hitting sale items for my entertainment. Kameo and Vampire Rain are both games I don’t know much about, but they’re each under 10 bucks, with shipping, and they look entertaining. I’m not terribly picky with games, so they would definitely be worth a shot. And for under 13 bucks, I might be persuaded to buy LOST: The Video Game just so I can beat up some characters and vent my frustration!
Lego Batman, or Lego Indiana Jones will have to be in our collection. I’ll let Ryan pick which one he’s more interested in, but I want one of them.
I also have to finally own Acme Arsenal. I’ve almost bought this game so many times. You get to play as Gossamer! That’s all the incentive I need!
And I’m excited to see that SceneIt? is under $20! It’s really a group game, but I can sit and play SceneIt? by myself and just enjoy the trivia.
For 23 bucks, I’d be willing to try Viva Pinata. A lot of people tell me it’s a game I’d really like.
And finally, it hasn’t gone down much in price yet, but Guitar Hero: World Tour needs to be in this apartment as soon as possible.
Looks like a respectable collection, right?

Any other suggestions? I like fun games that aren’t super complicated. I also like RPGs (I’m cool with complicated on that front) but not turn-based. I’m just not a fan of turn-based. If I’m going to kick someone’s ass with a weapon, I want to be slamming them with a sword, not choosing a command and then watching them slam someone with a sword. Kingdom Hearts has been one of my favorite games if that gives you an idea of what I like.
